There is a saying in the Kung Fu San Soo world that goes something like this, "don't box a boxer, and don't wrestle a wrestler." What this means simply is to fight the way you've been trained to fight. And, fight by the rules that you've been trained to fight with, which are no rules. […]
If you received your master’s degree or any black belt degrees from Bill Hulsey from 1985 to present day and want to find out if your degree has been recalled, then do read on. I am not going to mention any names here. I am already far to embarrassed for you guys to further humiliate you [...] […]
I studied under dave carter for many years after originally sbeing with larry wikle in los angeles. I used to stop by your other studios and I always enjoyed the cordiality of you studio. I learned a lot watching your classes even though I’ve been a blackbelt for many years. I watched you at Jimmy’s for many years because when I switched over to dave carter in 75 i used to go with him to el monte quite frequently. I’m sorry to hear that you had a few bad apples in your studio. By the way Paul is a good friend of mine and we both really like what you do. There are always a few ingrates in life that don’t appreciate what you’ve done for them until something happens.
Bill, I’m not really sure how I came about your site but I must say it was great to hear your voice. I remember the good ‘ole days with you and Stan at the studio on Bellflower Blvd. You look the same…. great! Hope all is well with you and if I’m ever in the area, I’m going to look you up.
