I have been with KFSS since my early teenage years...I was under Andre Salvage in Los Angeles. As life happens, my family moved and I lost contact with all of KFSS. I graduated college, got a career, bought a house, got married, got divorce and married again. Finally, 3 kids later, got my black belt in summer 09. Funny thing is I dont feel I deserve, i look at all the masters and think, "damn I dont know a thing!" One thing keeps echoing in my mind, a black belt long ago told me - "the black belt is the beginning of the real art!" I didnt know what he meant then....but after reading your post I think I do now.
